Wesley Owen's Harrogate store has been bought out of administration, with Baker Tilly Restructuring & Recovery believing that a further 17 stores could also be saved.
Russell Cash, partner at Baker Tilly Restructuring & Recovery, said: "With 17 stores there are discussions with interested parties. With the regards to the majority of those it is one party, which is great, and then there are other individual interested buyers."
Cash said he was not sure how long it would be until deals would be finalised but added: "I'm disappointed that we've not concluded the big deal."
The Harrogate store has been sold to Living Oasis and will open on 13th February. Cash said however that Baker Tilly was "struggling" with the remaining eight stores for reasons out of its control.
Wesley Owen went into administration on 18th December.
