Anna Derkacz is joining HarperCollins as sales director for fiction, non-fiction and Avon in the New Year to cover the maternity leave of Laura Fletcher.
Derkacz will report to group sales director Oliver Wright and her first day in the office will be Monday 4th January 2016.
Derkacz makes the move from Penguin Random House, where she is currently head of international sales and previously head of UK sales for Penguin Adult.
Wright said: “I’m delighted that Anna will be joining the HarperCollins sales team to cover Laura’s maternity leave. She has a great track record of working with some fantastic titles and authors, and I’m confident that HarperCollins’ customer relationships will be in safe hands.”
Derkacz commented: "I’ve had a fantastic and memorable time at PRH, working with some great teams and amazing authors. Though I’ll be sad to leave, I am incredibly excited to be joining HarperCollins and to return to UK Sales again."
