Waterstone’s head of e-commerce David Kohn has left the retailer.
Kohn has worked with the book retailer for the last two and a half years. He plans to pursue “a number of digital investment opportunities,” according to a Waterstone’s spokesperson.
Helen Baker, currently head of IT solutions, will replace him. Waterstones said Kohn had been “instrumental” in developing the company’s e-commerce and digital strategy in his time.
“His strategic insight has been invaluable throughout this period. We are very sorry to see him leave and wish him the best for the future,” the spokesman said.
Baker will report to Waterstone’s Michael Neil, commercial director, and will take up her position today (31st January). “Helen brings with her great expertise and many years of experience,” the spokesperson said.
