The Darley Anderson Agency has opened an illustration arm that will represent artists across both children's and adult lists.
Illustration clients previously represented by the company's Children’s Book Agency will now move onto the Darley Anderson Illustration Agency list. Agents Clare Wallace and Lydia Silver, assisted by Chloe Davis, are also actively seeking new artists and illustrators.
Clients represented by the agency already include Claire Powell, Lorna Scobie, Zanna Goldhawk, Anneli Bray and Jo Brown as well as emerging talents Mark Bradley and Soofiya. The agency’s clients have been nominated for many awards, such as the Klaus Flugge Prize and the Kate Greenaway Award, and have been featured in major promotions such as the Booktrust’s Bookstart programme.
Clare Wallace, m.d., said: "I’m so thrilled to be launching the Darley Anderson Illustration Agency alongside such an incredibly skilled and supportive team."
The DAIA has launched a new website, which will be regularly updated with new work, showcasing the agency’s clients.
Agency founder Darley Anderson said: "Under Clare Wallace’s inspired leadership I’m confident the newly formed Illustration Agency will increasingly become the first choice for new and talented illustrators."
