Coronet is publishing a fitness book with Harry Judd, McFly band member and former winner of Strictly Come Dancing, this October.
The book, also addressing issues of mental health, is called Get Fit, Get Happy, showing how fitness makes you feel good as well as look good.
It will be the first time Judd has talked about his own mental health issues publicly, such as being prone to anxiety, and how he often turns to fitness to redress the balance in his life.
The book, part memoir - in which Judd shares life lessons he has learned - and part fitness plan, uses a combination of exercise and dance designed to make fitness fun and accessible, and result in readers feeling more positive.
Coronet publisher Charlotte Hardman acquired world rights in a deal negotiated with Matthew Fletcher at Happy Entertainment.
The book follows a deal for Judd's wife, Izzy, with Transworld for Dare to Dream, telling the personal story of the couple's difficult time trying for a baby and turning to IVF, reported on last month.
Harry Judd said: "I’ve used exercise to overcome the strains and stresses of some of the most difficult moments in my life. These are issues that I know many of us have, and I'm so excited to show everyone how it’s possible to use exercise in a way that is fun, fast and free to get your head in the right place, to feel good about life and to feel great about yourself."
Hardman said: "Harry is incredibly passionate about encouraging people to embrace fitness as a way to make themselves feel better and to spread a bit of happiness. By laying bare his own life story and sharing his own personal experience of the benefits of exercise, Harry will inspire others to do the same. He shows us that we don’t need expensive kit, a gym membership or even lots of time to make a difference: this is a plan for everyone. I’m thrilled to be working with Harry and delighted about the potential for what we have to achieve together with Get Fit, Get Happy."
