Cornerstone held its inaugural Crime Night celebrating its crime list with authors including Anthony Horowitz and Tony Parsons.
Other authors in attendance were Simon Kernick, Lisa Jewell, John Harvey and Phil Redmond, as well as 2018 crime debut authors, Amy Lloy, author of The Innocent Wife, and Araminta Hall, author of Our Kind of Cruelty.
The event took place in The Saloon of Brunswick House in London's Vauxhall and guests included booksellers, bloggers and press.

Selina Walker, pulisher of Cornerstone’s Century and Arrow imprints, kicked off the night’s proceedings by describing the crime genre as one “that continues to endure and entertain in its many forms and its practitioners create novels that grip, enthrall, terrify - and ultimately satisfy”.
Guests were then introduced to each author with "fun facts" about each of them, such as Parsons being asked by The Clash to be their drummer.
The night’s celebrations continued with drinks and canapés, plus "sneaky snaps" in the #CornerstonCrime Corner photo booth.
At the end of the night guests were invited to take home goody bags with themed cakepops and proofs.
