Cork upbeat as supply continues

<p>Publishers' and supermarkets' support for Cork International will lead to "a positive outcome" within a few days, the distributor has claimed, Fiona Fraser writes.</p><p>Chris Rushby, Cork books trading manager, said that talks with publishers were "continuing", and that trading was pro forma in the short term. Squeezed by tough negotiations with publishers on one side and supermarkets on the other, it has asked for a credit extension to ease "temporary cash-flow problems".
