Corinthian Books has bought a book collecting the best conversations from Views from the Boundary, the regular discussion slot on BBC's Test Match Special.
The Best of Views of the Boundary has been compiled by the programme's former producer Peter Baxter. Corinthian's consultant publisher Ian Marshall bought UK and Commonwealth rights from Rob Dinsdale at the HHB Agency for an undisclosed sum. The book will be published by the Icon Books imprint on 7th October.
Baxter has collected his favourite interviews from the Q&A slot over the last 30 years including John Cleese, the Duke of Edinburgh, Gary Lineker, John Major, Mick Jagger, Stephen Fry, Mervyn King, Elton John, Boris Johnson, Piers Morgan, Daniel Radcliffe and Lily Allen.
Marshall said: "This is not only an ideal Christmas present for any cricket fan, and perfect reading matter during late-night Ashes Tests, but also captures the essence of what Corinthian Books is all about."
Baxter first worked on Test Match Special in 1966 and was the show's producer from 1973 until 2007.
