Christopher Little Literary Agency LLP is entering into a new association with Curtis Brown.
Although Little will continue to act as an independent agent in his own agency, Curtis Brown will now be responsible for administering the related contracts and selling translations rights for the clients of Christopher Little.
Little said: “I am delighted with this arrangement as it allows both me and my team the flexibility to expand the creative arm of my agency. We have a lot of new work in progress and announcements will be forthcoming.”
Jonathan Lloyd, chairman of Curtis Brown, said: “I am thrilled to be working with Christopher and his colleagues and the clients of his agency. I believe this could be a very interesting model for the future with benefits to both parties.”
He added: “Christopher maintains his independence and hands-on involvement but the support of our group will not only reinforce the future long-term protection for his authors but add the benefits associated with a larger company.”
