Google Play is featuring the titles on a "Great Book Sale" promotion, with Amazon price-matching.
The Goldfinch, currently at number 40 in the Official UK Top 50 bestseller chart with an r.r.p. of £20 and an average selling price of £11.89, is on offer for £1.99, as is the new Bridget Jones book, and The Cuckoo's Calling by J K Rowling writing as Robert Galbraith (Little, Brown).
Also for sale at £1.99 are Dan Brown's Inferno (Bantam) and Game of Thrones by George R R Martin (Harper Voyager).
Meanwhile David Jason's My Life (Century), which in print is currently number three in the Official UK Top 50 bestseller chart, selling for an average selling price of £9.86, is on sale for £2.99.
The number one bestseller, Alex Ferguson: My Life (Hodder & Stoughton), which in print has an ASP of £12.50, is on offer for £4.99. The latest Jeff Kinney book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Hard Luck (Puffin), Stephen King's Doctor Sleep (Hodder) and Morrissey's Autobiography (Penguin) are also on sale for £4.99 in the Google Play promotion and on Amazon's Kindle store.
