Choc Lit has signed three debut novels and is looking to increase its lists.
The independent women's fiction publisher signed world rights directly with the authors in the three novels, all contemporary romantic fiction: Sweet Nothing by Alison Maynard, Doctor January by Rhoda Baxter and Truth or Dare by Laura James [pictured]. Publication dates for the novels are to be confirmed.
Choc Lit is set to double its print output to two books a month and to increase its digital publishing under the Choc Lit Lite imprint. A spokesperson said: "We aim to publish as many high quality digital first books under our Choc Lit Lite imprint as submissions allow. All digital first books will still be read and reviewed by our tasting panel, plus given thorough editing and copyediting treatment."
Choc Lit recently celebrated its fourth birthday.
