Choc Lit has bought a “steamy romantic trilogy” authored by a television presenter.
Lyn Vernham, head of Choc Lit, acquired world rights to the books directly from Debbie Flint.
The first book in the series will be Hawaiian Affair, which will be released in e-book around Christmas 2014, with a paperback edition in 2015.
Flint is currently a presenter on home shopping channel QVC, and started her career on children’s television, replacing Philip Schofield in the Broom Cupboard on the BBC. She helped launch BBC Daytime TV with Eamonn Holmes and hosted her own BBC1 gameshow "Meet the Challenge".
Vernham said: “We’re delighted to have Debbie as part of the Choc Lit team. She’s an extremely talented author and we are looking forward to introducing her novels to the mass market.
“Debbie’s Hawaiian trilogy will introduce a new heat level to the Choc Lit range – tastefully spicy.”
