Choc Lit buys romantic comedy

<p>Independent women&#39;s publisher Choc Lit has signed a &quot;quirky romantic comedy&quot; about a famous rock star trying to keep his past hidden, written by Jane Lovering. </p><p>Lyn Vernham bought world rights to <em>Don&#39;t Stop the Music </em>for an undisclosed sum via Kate Nash of the Kate Nash Literary Agency. It will be Lovering&#39;s first novel out in the UK: her previous two novels were published only in the US.</p><p>Nash said: &quot;&quot;Jane is a fantastically talented writer of romantic comedy and though she lives in Yorkshire has never been published in her home country. It&#39;s a fabulous coup for Choc Lit.&quot;<br />Vernham and Nash will be selling foreign rights at London Book Fair. <br /><br /></p>
