Transworld has bought a third book from fitness author Chloe Madeley.
Transform Your Body With Weights is a comprehensive guide both for beginners wanting to add weight-training into their exercise routine, and for those who already lift but want to achieve a different aesthetic result. It follows her two previous titles The 4-Week Body Blitz and The Fat-Loss Blitz (both published by Transworld) - she has sold 72,280 copies for £603,122, with her bestseller the former title, selling 55,122 (all figures according to Nielsen BookScan).
Michelle Signore, editorial director at Transworld, acquired UK and Commonwealth rights from Clare Hulton of the Clare Hulton Literary Agency. The book will publish on 12th December 2019 supported by a widespread, comprehensive publicity and marketing campaign.
Signore said: “Chloe is a dream author and I’m delighted to be publishing her third book. She is an expert voice in the world of fitness and people trust her because she knows her subject inside out. Weight-training is rapidly becoming a part of everyday fitness routines but there is still uncertainty about which exercises to perform and how to execute them correctly."
She added: "Chloe’s guide is an illustrated day-by-day plan that covers exercises for beginner, intermediate and advanced lifters. And, of course, there is plenty of guidance about what to eat in order to keep you on track with your fitness goals.”
Madeley said: “It’s no secret that my audience have always been interested in the fat loss side of what I do, but truth be told, I fell in love with training when I started weight lifting. My audience have come a long way and requests for a weight lifting book have dramatically increased over the last few years. This book has a beginners plan, an intermediate plan and an advanced plan, for all levels of lifter. There are also fat loss, muscle building and strength training diet and cardio instructions for those with specific weight lifting goals."
