Century signs two more from Kavanagh

Century and Arrow has acquired rights to two more novels by Emma Kavanagh.

Jenny Geras, Arrow publishing director, bought UK and Commonwealth rights, including the EU and Canada, from Camilla Wray at the Darley Anderson Literary, TV and Film Agency.

Kavanagh’s debut novel, Falling, was published by Arrow in 2014, and her next novel Hidden is out in April from Century.

The two new novels will be published in hardback under the Century imprint, in paperback by Arrow and as e-books. The novels will be published in May 2016 and May 2017.

Geras said: “We are thrilled to have two more books from Emma Kavanagh. Falling had a wonderful critical reception last year and found Emma many fans, and I know that this year's Hidden and the two new books will take her to an even bigger market. She has the perfect background for writing crime thrillers and I can't wait to publish the two new books.”

Kavanagh worked for seven years as a police and military psychologist, training firearms officers, command staff and military personnel throughout the UK and Europe to deal with the most extreme situations.
