Century is publishing the autobiography of "Geordie Shore" star and TV personality Marnie Simpson, called Stripped Bare.
The deal was struck by Century senior editor Ajda Vucicevic, buying world rights from David Riding of MBA Literary Agents and Craig Johnson-Pass of Unleashed PR. Century will publish in hardback and e-book on 1st June.
The "fun and feisty" Simpson, from Stanley, County Durham, joined MTV's "Geordie Shore" in 2013 during series seven. She has since released a clothing range with Forever Modo and, in August 2016, became a "Celebrity Big Brother" housemate finishing fourth in the competition.
In Stripped Bare, she will tell her story of growing up in Newcastle and becoming a household name, as well as "all the goss" surrounding her life in the public eye.
Simpson said, "I’ll be telling stories from my childhood, giving all the goss on my TV life, and throwing in a few surprises as well. I can’t wait to share this with my fans and to get out on the road to meet them this summer.”
Vucicevic added: "Marnie is one of the most talked about and fascinating personalities and, finally, her fans will have a chance to get an insight into her life, behind the scenes and unfiltered.”
