Little, Brown’s Sphere division will this autumn release two books based on the popular mobile game Candy Crush.
King Digital Entertainment plc, creator of the Candy Crush franchise, has appointed Little, Brown as global publishing licensee for the brand.
The first book, The Official Candy Crush Saga Top Tips Guide, will be released in the UK on 8th October, with The Candy Crush Colouring Book released two weeks later.
Sphere’s publishing director for non-fiction, Adam Strange, said: “We’re delighted to be working with King and the Candy Crush team and these first two projects have tremendous potential.
“We know from our own research that there’s a huge demand for official help with some of the game’s more challenging levels so are confident that the guide will really take off.
“And with a brand as powerful as Candy Crush behind it, we believe the colouring book has what it takes to elevate a growing publishing trend to a whole new level.”
The Official Candy Crush Saga Top Tips Guide has been created exclusively by the team behind the game and offers players an in-depth look at the Candy Kingdom and its parallel Dreamworld, providing tips on mastering the mechanics of the game and passing the most challenging of levels.
The Candy Crush Colouring Book is inspired by the episodes and characters from the Candy Kingdom.
