Blink Publishing has signed a memoir from Hollywood actor Burt Reynolds.
But Enough About Me will be published in autumn 2015, and share Reynolds' memories of more than 40 years of acting and directing, and those he met along the way, including Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe and Marlon Brando.
Acquisitions director Clare Tillyer acquired UK and Commonwealth rights, excluding Canada, from Lorella Belli at Lorella Belli Literary Agency, on behalf of Folio Literary Management.
Reynolds, who will visit the UK to promote the book, said: "But Enough About Me is about the people who’ve shaped my life, for better or worse. I pay homage to those I love and respect, acknowledge those who’ve stayed loyal, call out the assholes I can’t forgive, and try to make amends for being an asshole myself on too many occasions. I give special attention to my son Quinton, to the two great loves of my life, Dinah Shore and Sally Field, and I’m sorry to say to the bane of my existence to this day, Loni Anderson. I don’t mince words or pull punches. I’ve always enjoyed making fun of myself, and I won’t stop now; my bullshit detector has improved with age."
