HarperCollins Children’s Books former sales strategy director Brigid Nelson will join Bloomsbury as UK consumer sales director.
The role, based in London, covers the adult trade and children’s trade and education lists and will see Nelson report to Kathleen Farrar, m.d. of group sales and marketing. Nelson replaces Elise Burns who joins Bonnier Books UK as its new trade sales and export director.
Nelson was most recently sales strategy director at HarperCollins Children’s Books and previously worked at Penguin Random House. She will start at Bloomsbury on 2nd December.
