Bourne rejoins W&N

<p>Adrian Bourne will return to Orion as managing director of Weidenfeld&amp;Nicolson in November. He previously joined as head of W&N in February 2002, having stepped down as m.d. of HarperCollins trade division the previous year. But he quit later that year to spend time with his wife Chris, who has recently died.

His return follows the surprise sacking last week of Orion c.e.o. Anthony Cheetham. Malcolm Edwards, who has stepped up to Orion deputy c.e.o. and publisher, said: "It's the last piece in the new management jigsaw." The aim was to "build and strengthen general publishing at Weid...
