Rhys Bowen’s The Venice Sketchbook (Lake Union) rose from fourth to second place week on week, as Karin Slaughter’s The Silent Wife (HarperCollins) returned to the top 10 for the first time since November.
Psychological thrillers C L Taylor’s Her Last Holiday (Avon) and Cara Hunter’s The Whole Truth (Penguin) zipped into the top five, as Jessica Redland’s Family Secrets at Hedgehog Hollow (Boldwood) and Caroline Mitchell’s Truth and Lies (Thomas & Mercer) also debuted.
Clarification: Hachette has confirmed Claire North's The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August (Orbit) sold 3,453 copies.
