Bookshop buy for Birlinn

<p>Edinburgh-based publisher Birlinn is looking to buy more bookshops, following its acquisition of Scotland&#39;s oldest independent store, J D Yeadon.</p><p>Birlinn took over the Elgin, Aberdeenshire premises earlier this month. The 1,600 sq ft shop, which originally opened in 1887, was about to close down owing to the ill-health of previous owner Shirley Rowland.
