Bookouture has acquired two new novels from Kerry Fisher, Kindle bestselling author of The Silent Wife.
Jenny Geras, publishing director at Bookouture, acquired world English rights from Clare Wallace at Darley Anderson Literary Agency. Fisher’s novels have now sold over half a million copies for Bookouture and The Silent Wife was one of Amazon UK’s top 10 bestselling Kindle titles of 2017, according to the publisher.
Bookouture will also be working with fellow Hachette divisions Little, Brown Book Group in the UK and Grand Central Publishing in the US to release the paperback editions of The Silent Wife, which will be published by both Sphere and Grand Central in autumn 2018.
Geras said: "Kerry is a brilliant writer – every single one of her books is a gripping, emotional page-turner which readers and reviewers adore. It’s been a joy to watch her success over the last year, and I look forward to working with Kerry on her new books, and with colleagues at Sphere and Grand Central on bringing her print editions to a whole new readership."
Fisher said: "I am really excited about the next stage of my career with Bookouture and am delighted to be working with Sphere and Grand Central to bring The Silent Wife to a new audience."
Abby Parsons, editor at Sphere, said: "It's incredibly exciting to be working with the fantastic team at Bookouture in publishing Kerry's completely compelling tales of family secrets and emotional suspense onto the Sphere paperback list. The Silent Wife has achieved astounding success in ebook and we can't wait to bring this gripping page-turner to even more readers in its paperback outing."
