Digital venture Bookouture has made its made signing, a three-book deal with debut author Lindsay J Pryor.
Bookouture has been launched by former Harlequin UK marketing controller Oliver Rhodes and will specialise in women's fiction released as e-books and print on demand.
It will release the first of Pryor's paranormal romances, Blood Shadows, the first novel in the Blackthorn series, on November 27th in both formats. It will be followed by the sequel, Blood Roses, in spring 2013.
Pryor was voted as a runner-up in Mills & Boon's New Voices competition in 2010 and 2011.
Rhodes said: "Our focus is on creating global author brands and followings - through high quality editing and in particular through smart, creative digital marketing." Bookouture is open to receiving both agented and unagented submissions of female-focused fiction.
