Booker Prize to be announced in November in live stream from The Roundhouse

The Booker Prize is to live stream its winner's ceremony on 17th November from Camden arts venue The Roundhouse, rather than holding its traditional dinner at the Guildhall, which won't now take place because of Covid-19.

Rather than an "adapted version of the same event", the move was described as a "whole new creative way of bringing to life the reading experience The Booker Prize rewards". The shape of the winners' ceremony is still under discussion, and will adapt to the changing circumstances, with the attendance of shortlisted authors not mandatory.
