Bonnier Zaffre has signed four novels in a new series by saga writer Rosie Goodwin.
Publishing director Eleanor Dryden acquired UK and Commonwealth rights to the novels from Sheila Crowley at Curtis Brown.
Mothering Sunday, the first in Goodwin’s Days of the Week series, will be published in hardback in time for Mother’s Day 2017.
Dryden said: "I’m very excited to be working with Rosie on a big new series and look forward to expanding her devoted readership even further. I have long admired her warmth, humanity and story-telling gifts and it is an honour to be able to welcome her to the Zaffre list."
Dryden recently joined Bonnier Zaffre from Avon as publisher of the women’s fiction list.
Goodwin said: "I’m very excited to be joining the lovely team at Bonnier Zaffre. Of course I am sad to say goodbye to my friends at Little, Brown [her previous publisher], but I know we will stay in touch. Here’s to new beginnings! I’m looking forward to working with the Zaffre team very much."
