Bol goes on growing


Having confirmed the flotation of its online retail operation in the second quarter 2000, BOL International, the Swiss-based subsidiary of media giant Bertelsmann, is preparing to take on leading Internet bookseller</p><p>

Details of the initial offering and the capital BOL hopes to raise are being kept under wraps, but according to reports in the German media the flotation could bring as much as DM2bn (&pound;650m), which Bertelsmann intends to invest in new online ventures in Europe, Asia and Latin America.</p><p>
