Bloomsbury has signed a sublicense to publish several tie-in titles for the upcoming film "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" and J K Rowling’s Wizarding World.
Bloomsbury Children’s publishing director Rebecca McNally acquired the UK and Commonwealth rights, excluding Canada, from Insight Editions, in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products.
Bloomsbury will publish gift books, including A Pop-up Gallery of Curiosities and Newt Scamander A Movie Scrapbook, both of which will be released on 18th November, the same day as the film.
McNally said: “These innovative formats are a wonderful book showcase for the wit and inventiveness of the films. We are very excited to have this opportunity to partner with Insight and Warner Bros. Consumer Products.”
The screenplay will be released by Little, Brown.
