Blink Publishing has acquired the “revealing” autobiography of Luisa Zissman, a former contestant on “The Apprentice” and “Celebrity Big Brother”.
Acquisitions and rights director Clare Tillyer bought worldwide rights to A Bad Girl’s Guide to a Good Life from Vickie White at White Management.
Zissman was a finalist on BBC’s “The Apprentice” in 2013 and owns her own cake shop, named after her daughter Dixie.
Since her appearance on “The Apprentice”, Zissman has set up her own baking supply business and been on Channel 5’s “Celebrity Big Brother”.
A Bad Girl’s Guide to a Good Life will be ghostwritten by Lucie Cave, and “will paint a clear portrait of Luisa’s life so far - the highs, the lows and all the experiences along the way”.
Blink Publishing, an imprint of the Bonnier Publishing Group, said it would also “delve deeper to reveal the woman behind the headlines: what drives her to succeed and what really makes her tick” and give advice on how to follow in Zissman’s entrepreneurial footsteps.
Perminder Mann, m.d. of Blink Publishing, said: “Luisa has had so much life experience at the age of 26 - founding successful businesses along with marriage and motherhood.
“She’s embraced her new-found fame and is a regular media personality. She’s refreshingly honest about business and her personal life.
“This book will combine all of that with advice, tips, regrets and reflections.”
Zissman is also publishing a cookbook, Wicked Cupcakes!, with Bantam Press this summer.
A Bad Girls Guide to A Good Life is published this October.
