Blackwell's sells off first store

<p>Fiona Fraser</p><p>Blackwell's is to sell its Heffers Art and Graphics store in Cambridge to Suffolk-based stationery supplier Tindalls.</p><p>The shop, which sells art materials and is the only site in the Blackwell's estate not to sell books, is the first of the chain's 64 stores to be discarded under the ongoing strategic review of the business. </p><p>Blackwell's and John Smith's are believed to be thrashing out the details for John Smith's acquisition of the majority of the academic business.</p><p>A Blackwell's spokesman said that the Blackwell's Art and Poster shop in Oxford also ...
