Scottish independent publisher Black & White Publishing has acquired a three-book series by 17-year-old Estelle Maskame, which has already had 4m hits on Wattpad.
Maskame has more than 125,000 Twitter followers and her Did I Mention I Love You? (DIMILY) trilogy has had 4m hits on digital platform Wattpad.
Maskame started writing at the age of 13 and completed the DIMILY trilogy when she was 16.
The deal with Black & White Publishing means the books will be available in print and e-book format for the first time, with the first book Did I Mention I Love You? published this summer.
Black & White’s m.d. Campbell Brown, who acquired world rights direct from the author, said: “It’s a delight to find a talent who started writing at such a young age and Estelle has already built up an extensive following for her work. We are really looking forward to bringing her trilogy to as wide a readership as possible, both in the UK and overseas. Did I Mention I Love You? will by published on 1st July 2015 as a £7.99 paperback, with the second book Did I Mention I Need You? published in September, and the final book, Did I Mention I Miss You? coming out in January 2016.
