Palgrave Pivot is giving away 100 titles for free for 100 hours from 9 a.m. this morning (Monday 28th October), to mark its first anniversary.
The digital-first imprint of Palgrave Macmillan publishes mid-length research works across the humanities, social sciences and business. It is aimed at allowing academics to release work of varying lengths, without the restrictions of length in book or journal publishing.
The 100 titles will be free to download on Palgrave Pivot's site until 1pm on Friday 1st November.
Carrie Calder, director of market development at Palgrave Macmillan, said: "In Palgrave Pivots’ first year, we have published more than 100 titles from world leading authors . . . The speed of publishing has helped the research we’ve published to have an impact on policymaking in ways that might not otherwise have been possible. We’re very proud of reaching this milestone.”
Titles available include Maria-lonela Neagu's Decoding Political Discourse: Conceptual Metaphors and Argumentation and Kath Woodward's Sporting Times.
