Century publishing director Ben Dunn has become the latest Bonnier Publishing recruit, appointed as m.d. of Blink Publishing, the flagship imprint of its new Kings Road Publishing division.
Dunn will join the company on 30th November and report to Perminder Mann, Kings Road m.d.
Dunn has been at Penguin Random House UK for the past six years, during which time he published commercial non-fiction titles and celebrity memoirs for names such as Steve Coogan, David Jason and Russell Brand. He was previously publisher for Hodder & Stoughton’s entertainment division and editorial director at HarperCollins.
Mann said: “The fast growing nature of our business means that we have to recruit the very best people from across the industry to every position in order to help us achieve our goals. Ben has great credentials and boasts a fantastic track-record of working with big name authors to launch bestselling non-fiction titles for large publishing houses. I very much look forward to working with him to expand on the Blink brand’s success and to take it to the next level.”
Dunn commented: “I’ve had a fantastic time at Century, working with an amazing team and some incredible authors. Though I’ll be sad to leave, I’m incredibly excited to be joining Blink, as it has quickly established itself as a pioneering brand with ambitious targets.”
Blink is publisher of YouTube star Alfie Deyes' bestseller The Pointless Book and The Pointless Book 2.
