Bealby-Wight wins Impress Prize

This Farewell Symphony by Edmund Bealby-Wright has won this year&rsquo;s Impress Prize for New Writers.<br /><br />The award, which is aimed at unpublished writing, was chosen by a panel of judges from the book trade including Waterstone&rsquo;s bookseller Jennifer Edgecombe and author of Writer&rsquo;s Market UK 2010 Caroline Taggart.<br /><br /><em>This Farewell Symphony</em> follows newly-widowed Edward and his children and is structured around Hayden&rsquo;s 45th Symphony, known as the &lsquo;Farewell&rsquo;. Bealby-Wright wins a publishing contract from the University of Exeter-based Impress Books.
