BBC puts books on back burner

<p>Alison Bone</p><p>BBC Worldwide's hunt for joint venture partners for its book division is on the back burner as it looks for a suitable partner for BBC Learning.</p><p>After a deal with Woolworths to combine video publishing in July, BBC Worldwide has now turned its focus onto its learning division. The division encompasses adult learning, children's publishing, foreign-language and English-language teaching.
