BA Report: Quick Reads literacy 'crusade' launched at conference

<p>Quick Reads, the World Book Day 2006 campaign to target reluctant adult readers, was launched at the conference.</p><p>Gail Rebuck, chairman and c.e.o. of the Random House Group and the driving force behind the initiative, called on all sides of the UK book industry to help make the "crusade" a success.</p><p>The Quick Reads campaign has been designed to tackle the problem of adult literacy and reach emergent readers.
