The Booksellers Association has set a deadline of 22nd July for booksellers to order its 2011 Christmas catalogue.
Publishers have until Tuesday (19th July) to submit suggestions, which will be considered by a panel of indies before the final catalogue line-up is selected.
Alan Staton, head of marketing at the Booksellers Association, said: "Christmas is a crucial trading time of year for our independent members and Christmas Books has a great legacy of picking quirky books that become bestsellers. This is probably because Christmas Books is the only catalogue that has titles chosen by independent booksellers for independent booksellers and their customers."
This year's catalogue is produced jointly with BML and will feature IndieBound branding for the second year in a row.
