Irish TV and radio personality turned author Claudia Carroll has been signed for two more novels by HarperCollins UK.
Eleanor Dryden, editorial director of HC’s Avon imprint, signed UK and Commonwealth rights to two as-yet-untitled novels from agent Marrianne Gunn O’Connor.
Dryden said that Claudia wrote “life-affirming, witty and fresh romantic comedies”, and the publisher had “bold plans” to cement her place “as one of the leading commercial women’s fiction authors writing today”.
Carroll has sold £2.1m worth of books through Nielsen BookScan UK since first being published in 2005. The new novels will be published in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
