HarperCollins imprint Avon Books has signed a new erotica trilogy from writer Primula Bond.
Adam Nevill, editorial director for Avon's sister imprint Mischief, signed world rights to The Unbreakable Trilogy, with the first book, The Silver Chain, planned for release as an e-book on 4th July and in paperback in August.
The second book, The Golden Locket, will be released in December, with the final installment due in June 2014.
The Silver Chain revolves around a young photographer called Serena Folkes, who becomes fascinated by the handsome gallery owner Gustav Levi. As they become closer, he gives her a bracelet to wear at all times, attached to a silver chain which he controls.
Bond is an Oxford-educated legal secretary, who was once rejected by Mills and Boon for being too explicit. This is her fourth erotic novel.
Nevill said: "Primula invests so much energy, intelligence, wit, and authentic passion into her writing, her voice should distinguish itself in an overcrowded erotic romance field that needsnew and stridently distinctive voices to evolve."
