Aster, part of the Octopus Publishing Group, will publish "MasterChef" star Monica Galetti's new cookbook At Home: My Favourite Recipes for Family and Friends in September 2021.
At Home will be a collection of 80 easy, everyday dishes Galetti enjoys at home, with family and friends, using simple ingredients that everyone will enjoy, says the publisher. Sections will range from breakfasts and midweek suppers to celebrations, gatherings and Sunday lunch—and dishes inspired by the chef's friends and family in France, Samoa, New Zealand, the UK and beyond.
Stephanie Jackson, publisher, acquired world rights in all languages from Rosemary Scoular at United Agents.
Jackson said: "Thanks to her extraordinary skill in the kitchen, exceptional attention to detail and devotion to the highest standards in cookery, Monica Galetti is a legend in TV cookery and the British restaurant scene. But how does she cook at home, when she’s out of the limelight, and comfort, ease and delicious simplicity are key? Monica’s new book will showcase the side of her we don’t often get to see: from quick weeknight suppers and lazy weekend brunches, to family celebrations and the perfect Sunday lunch with friends. Coming this autumn, just ahead of a new season on TV, At Home will be the perfect treat to enjoy over the holidays—or put under the tree."
Galetti commented: "At Home has been a very enjoyable book to put together—hugely due to the fun group we had working on it. It’s been lovely to share some of my personal stories and the fond memories that have resulted in this new collection of recipes."
Galetti was born in Samoa and raised in New Zealand. She owns London restaurant Mere and is known as one of the judges on BBC One's "MasterChef: The Professionals". She has published two books with Quadrille: Monica's Kitchen in 2012 and The Skills: How to Become an Expert Chef in Your Own Kitchen in 2016.
