Arcadia tops sales of half a million

<p>Independent publisher Arcadia Books has topped the &pound;500,000 turnover mark for the first time, as it celebrates winning the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize with Jose Eduardo Agualusa&#39;s <em>The Book of Chameleons</em>.</p><p>The translated fiction specialist made sales of &pound;502,000 in 2006, rocketing 64% from &pound;305,500 the previous year. Operating profit was up to &pound;117,000 from &pound;22,500.
