Apple has confirmed pricing on its iPad 2 device, with the cheapest model available for £399 and most expensive on sale for £659.
The device will go on sale in 25 countries on Friday [25th March] and offers a camera as part of its new features as well as a lighter and thinner model than the first generation device.
Pricing for the Wi-fi only models is £399 for the 16GB device, £479 for the 32GB device and £559 for the 64GB model.The iPad 2 with wi-fi and 3G will cost £499 for the 16GB model, £579 for the 32GB device and £659 for the 64GB.
The new version of the device is between £20 and £40 cheaper than when the first generation iPad went on sale last May.
Apple c.e.o. Steve Jobs said: "While competitors are still struggling to catch up with our first iPad, we've changed the game again with iPad 2.
"We're experiencing amazing demand for iPad 2 in the US, and customers around the world have told us they can't wait to get their hands on it. We appreciate everyone's patience and we are working hard to build enough iPads for everyone."
