Amazon.co.uk and Blackwell booksellers for Oxford Literary Festival

<p>Amazon.co.uk has teamed up with the Oxford Literary Festival to become its official online bookseller, the first time it has partnered with a literary festival and it has created a dedicated store online to celebrate the fact. Blackwell is the festival&#39;s onsite bookseller, as it has been previously. </p><p>The festival runs from 20th March to 28th March and features 250 events across its nine days in venues across Oxford. Among the authors appearing are Ruth Rendell, Hilary Mantel, Martin Amis, Philip Pullman and Patti Smith.</p><p>Amazon.co.uk is hosting a dedicated store for the festival, located at <a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/oxfordliteraryfestival" target="_blank" title="www.amazon.co.uk/oxfordliteraryfestival">amazon.co.uk/oxfordliteraryfest.... It features biographies and bibliographies of the festival&#39;s authors and information on the festival&#39;s events.</p><p>Sally Dunsmore, director of the Oxford Literary Festival, said: &quot;The essential purposes of the festival are to bring literature closer to people; to make the connection between author and reader more direct; and to foster increased accessibility to, and enjoyment of, literature for the widest number of people.
