Amazon.com pulls paedophile guide from sale

<p>Amazon.com has pulled from sale a self-published guide giving advice to paedophiles after customers threatened a boycott. The internet retailer had earlier refused to remove the Kindle book claiming that the site wished to avoid censorship.</p><p> The title, authored by Phillips Greaves, was published late last month, according to product details previously available on Amazon.com. It sold for $4.79 on the company&#39;s Kindle Store. Amazon allows authors to submit their own books and shares revenue with them, but Amazon does not specifically state on its website what material it deems offensive, instead saying &quot;probably what you would expect&quot;.</p><p>Amazon said it. &quot;Amazon believes it is censorship not to sell certain books simply because we or others believe their message is objectionable.&quot; Some individuals on are threatening to boycott the retailer, the BBC reported, but the title is no longer available for sale.</p><p>The book was not available to buy in the UK. </p>
