Amazon workers reject GPMU

<p>Workers at Amazon.co.uk's Milton Keynes distribution warehouse voted against unionisation in a two-day ballot last week. The defeated GPMU union said it was considering its options. Of the total workforce, excluding the management team, 80% voted against unionisation, 15% voted in favour, with 5% of the ballot papers spoilt.</p><p> The election was held by Amazon amid mounting conflict with the GPMU, which has been organising at the plant.
