Amazon to open second fulfilment centre

<p>Amazon is to open its second fulfilment centre in Scotland this autumn with &#163;300,000 funding from economic development agency Scottish Enterprise.

The new 200,000 sq ft centre in Glenrothes is expected to create up to 50 full-time jobs and about 250 temporary jobs in the run up to the Christmas season. It will handle distribution of Amazon.co.uk's newer product lines such as electronics and photo, home and garden and toys and games.
