Amazon has launched a “Send to Kindle” button for websites that will allow people to save content to be read later on their Kindle devices.
The service has been taken up by the Washington Post website and Time magazine, as well as blogs such as Boing Boing and WordPress.
Various apps such as Instapaper and Pocket have already allowed users to collect content to read later on their mobile phones.
Amazon have made the “Send to Kindle” button available now for websites, after having announced a similar service as an extension for Google Chrome and Firefox web browsers last year, broadening the use of Kindles to include more web content alongside e-books.
