Sally Rooney's Beautiful World, Where Are You (Faber) swiped the Amazon Charts' Most-Sold: Fiction top spot, as the hardback debuted atop the Nielsen BookScan Total Consumer Market chart in its first week on sale. Through Amazon, the title garnered more pre-order sales than any other book in the ranking.
Peter James' Find Them Dead (Macmillan) also bounded up the chart, hitting third place, as Susanna Clarke's Women's Prize-winning Piranesi (Bloomsbury) returned to the Most-Sold: Fiction chart in fourth.
Raynor Winn's The Salt Path (Penguin) claimed the Most-Sold: Non-Fiction top spot, as podcasters Chris and Rosie Ramsay hit second place with Sh**gged, Married, Annoyed (Penguin).
Bob Mortimer's And Away... (Gallery) held third for a second week running, as Sarah Harding's Hear Me Out (Ebury) climbed nine places to fifth. The singer's death at the age of 39 was announced last week.
