Sally Rooney's Normal People (Faber) has scored a second week atop the Amazon Charts' Most-Sold: Fiction chart, as Joe Wicks' Wean in 15 (Bluebird) toddles into another week as the Most-Sold: Non-Fiction number one.
The BBC adaptation of Normal People has boosted Rooney's novel to both the Bookstat e-book and Nielsen BookScan print top spots. It also vaulted into second place in the Most-Read: Fiction chart.
Conversations with Friends, Rooney's first novel, jumped five places to ninth place.
Stephenie Meyer's Midnight Sun (Atom), announced last week, entered the Most-Sold: Fiction chart in 19th, months ahead of its publication in August.
Wicks' baby-feeding guide held the Most-Sold: Non-Fiction top spot ahead of its release this week, though Michelle Obama's Becoming (Penguin) rose 10 places to second. The memoir, which has been the Most-Read: Non-Fiction number one since the beginning of the year, may have been boosted by a Netflix documentary following Obama's book tour dropping last week.
However, the rock-solid Most-Read: Non-Fiction top three was disrupted for the first time in months, as Adam Buxton's Ramble Book (Mudlark) jumped 10 places up the chart to second. It couldn't unseat Michelle, though, who notched up another week at the top of the chart.
