Stephenie Meyer's Midnight Sun (Atom) rose 11 places to top the Amazon Charts' Most-Sold: Fiction chart, as the Twilight reboot sold 62,460 copies in hardback to claim the UK Official Top 50 number one through Nielsen BookScan's TCM. It also earned the "unputdownable" tag, with Kindle readers finishing Midnight Sun faster than similar books.
Stephen Fry's Mythos (Penguin) scored second place, elbowing Delia Owens' Where the Crawdads Sing (Corsair) to third. Jill Mansell's It Started with a Secret (Headline) debuted in fourth place.
Dr Michael Mosley's 2019 title The Fast 800 (Short) bounced into the Most-Sold: Non-Fiction number one, with Dr Clare Bailey and Justine Pattison's The Fast 800 Recipe Book joining it in second, following the launch of Mosley's new Channel 4 diet show last week. Bryony Gordon's Glorious Rock Bottom (Headline) was the highest new entry in fourth.
